The DAF Customer Support Plan


DAF vehicles are designed to deliver the utmost in reliability, economy, productivity and profitability. Depending on the vehicle you choose, every new DAF comes with full 12 or 24 month cover as standard. This includes repair and replacement of all parts not affected by accidental damage or wear in ordinary use.

What you get

CF & XF cover:

  • Two years unlimited mileage warranty covering the replacement or repair of any part, including driveline, where its failure is not due to normal wear, damage, abuse, misuse or lack of necessary maintenance to DAF standards.
  • DAFaid roadside assistance including International Truck Service (ITS) covering recovery and travelling costs to and from the recovering dealer if the customer’s vehicle is rendered immobile or illegal due to failure of warrantable items during the first two years.
  • Two years preventative maintenance (up to 400,000 kms) including all scheduled ‘VOSA’ safety inspections, all scheduled servicing through an authorised UK DAF dealer including oils and filter replacement, two years tachograph calibration and validation of cab anti-corrosion warranty up to 5 years

LF cover:

  • Year 1 unlimited mileage warranty covering the replacement or repair of any part where its failure is not due to normal wear, damage, abuse, misuse or lack of necessary maintenance to DAF standards
  • Year 2 unlimited mileage driveline warranty on engine, gearbox, propshaft and drive axle with coverage as above
  • DAFaid roadside assistance including International Truck Service (ITS) covering recovery and travelling costs to and from the recovering dealer if the customer’s vehicle is rendered immobile or illegal due to failure of warrantable items during the 1st year

    • Exclusions:

      1. Daily routine checks or fluid top-ups between services
      2. Replacement or repair of parts damaged by normal wear
      3. Replacement or repair of parts not included in the original chassis/cab specifications as supplied by DAF Trucks
      4. Accident damage or damage caused by abuse or misuse
      5. The replacement or repair of parts not included in the original chassis/cab specification as ordered from your DAF Dealer
      6. Collection or delivery of the vehicle for routine servicing, maintenance or MOT tests
      7. The repair or replacement of body work or vehicle superstructure
      8. MOT test fees or steam cleaning for MOT tests
