The DAF Customer Support Plan


DAF vehicles are designed to deliver the utmost in reliability, economy, productivity and profitability. Depending on the vehicle you choose, every new DAF comes with full 12 or 24 month unlimited mileage cover as standard. This includes repair and replacement of all parts not affected by accidental damage or wear in ordinary use. In order to help you drive your business even more effectively, DAF also provides a comprehensive Customer Support Plan that guarantees your vehicle specialist attention from authorised DAF technicians whenever you need it.

The DAF Customer Support Plan comes in three parts - DAFcare, Preventative Maintenance and tachograph calibration.  Two years’ cover comes as standard with every CF and XF and one year on all LFs. Full details of upgrading the standard cover on your LF are available from your local DAF Dealer.

What you get

CF & XF cover:

a. DAFcare

  • 2 Years’ Parts Cover: Free of charge replacement or repair of any part where its   failure is not due to normal wear, damage, abuse, misuse or lack of necessary   maintenance to DAF standards. There are no mileage limitations and this is not   restricted to UK-only operations.
  • 2 Years’ DAFaid:  Free of charge emergency roadside assistance - including   DAF’s International Truck Service - recovery and travelling costs to and from the   recovering dealer if your vehicle is rendered immobile or illegal due to parts failure as covered above. DAFaid also includes a full Accident Management Service and access to our ITS international breakdown service.

b. Preventative Maintenance:Free of charge, 3 years’ routine servicing by an authorised DAF Dealer inclusive of oil / filter replacement and ‘O’ Licence inspections - all up to a maximum 600,000 km.

c. Tachograph Calibration: Free of charge, 2 Years’ tachograph calibration.

LF cover:

Free of charge, I year’s full vehicle parts cover including replacement or repair of any part where its failure is not due to normal wear, damage, abuse, misuse or lack of necessary maintenance to DAF standards. There are no mileage limitations and this is not restricted to UK-only operations.

Plus: Engine, gearbox, propshaft and drive axle cover - free for the whole of the second year with no limits on mileage or the number and value of claims you make.

The DAF Customer Support Plan does not include:

  1. Daily routine checks or fluid top-ups between services
  2. The replacement or repair of parts damaged by normal wear such as wiper blades, clutches, brake pads, bulbs, tyres etc.
  3. Glass replacement
  4. Accident damage or damage caused by abuse or misuse
  5. The replacement or repair of parts not included in the original chassis/cab     specification as ordered from your DAF Dealer
  6. Collection or delivery of the vehicle for routine servicing, maintenance or MOT tests
  7. The repair or replacement of body work or vehicle superstructure
  8. MOT test fees or steam cleaning for MOT tests
  9. Contract Repair & Maintenance work
  10. Any repairs or maintenance not carried out in accordance with DAF standards
