The new standard in linking truck and home base

The DAF Telematics System is a data communication system that offers great advantages to all parties involved. The unit not only contains features like navigation, messaging and camera view. It also gives the driver a possibility to exchange messages with the home office.

Of course the driver benefits from the additional comfort, safety and efficiency that the system offers. With only seven main buttons it is easy to operate. At the home base, operators will have a detailed overview of the complete fleet and can optimise their logistic processes by using the internet portal. Due to the open system no additional investment in software is required. Planners will have realtime reports of the positions of all their trucks and they can even and communicate directly with them.

Please note that the combination of vehicle data generated using DAF Telematics Services and data from the driver(s) of this vehicle qualifies as a personnel tracking system. Depending on the country, this is subject to different legal requirements. Before implementing this kind of system, make sure you are aware of the conditions that apply to your situation.
