DAF Trucks NV has signed an agreement with ATEC - the Arabian Truck and Construction Company – as the new representative for all DAF marketing, sales and service activities in Saudi Arabia. ATEC will also represent PACCAR Parts to guarantee a first class parts supply for DAF trucks throughout the country.

ATEC can rely on several sales and services locations in Saudi Arabia, including a new sales office in Riyadh which was officially opened this week. "In time we will surely expand this network”, explains Peter Beaumont. “Annually about 7,500 vehicles are registered in the heavy truck segment (> 15ton) in Saudi Arabia. In the upcoming years this volume will increase to 10.000 units. With DAF we target to realize a substantial market share. Looking at the local needs for transportation over long distances we see excellent opportunities for the XF105. However, the CF will account for the majority of the sales, especially in the construction segment. In the distribution segment, we will be active with the DAF LF."
